Androgenic Alopecia<\/h2>\n

Androgenic Alopecia is the most common form of baldness in men. It concerns about 70% of Dutch men and can start as early as puberty. The excessive hair loss usually starts at the crown in combination with the hairline that gets inlets and therefore moves more and more backwards.<\/p>\n

This form also occurs in women but to a much lesser extent. It usually starts around menopause. The hairline often remains intact and the hairs become thinner. See are therefore more vulnerable and break down earlier. The scalp looks normal with this form of Alopecia. The main cause is mainly genetically determined.<\/p>\n

Scars (hair transplantation)<\/h2>\n\nDespite the fact that the techniques of hair transplantation have become increasingly better, there are still specialists and clinics that leave their patients with scarring on the head. Usually that is on the back of the head which is usually used as a donor area. It also happens that the transplanted hairs do not grow. This causes inconsistency in the hair structure and therefore stands out. Scalp Micropigmentation or Micro Hair Pigmentation in this situation can camouflage the scars and fill the density.\n\nScalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is also a solution for scars caused by an accident. Alopecia Areata<\/h2>\n\nAlopecia Areata manifests itself in the development of excessive hair loss in various places (spots) on the head. This shape can also affect the beard area and eyebrows. There is also sometimes pigment loss. Alopecia Totalis and Universalis<\/h2>\n\nTwo other forms of Alopecia are Alopecia Totalis and Universalis. With Totalis, the head hair alone is absent, including the eyebrows and eyelashes. In Universalis, all body hair is absent and there is an advanced stage of Alopecia Areata. <\/p>\n\nThis is the most severe form of Alopecia. Thinly hairy and balding spots<\/h2>\n\nBecause a spot on the head (often at the crown, separation or hairline) has less hair growth compared to the area around it, you can more easily look at the scalp. <\/p>\n\nThis place therefore also stands out even more.
